At JMD Mattress, product safety is important. This Policy explains safety information for furniture products, assembly, use, recalls, and product safety communications.

1. General Product Safety

Customers should read and follow all product instructions, warnings, assembly guides, care instructions, and safety information provided with the product.

Furniture should be used only for its intended household purpose unless the product page states otherwise. Do not exceed stated weight limits. Do not modify, cut, drill, overload, or misuse furniture.

2. Assembly Safety

Some products may require assembly. Customers are responsible for following assembly instructions carefully.

Improper assembly may cause instability, product damage, personal injury, or property damage.

For large or heavy furniture, we recommend assembly by two adults or by a qualified professional where appropriate.

3. Anti-Tip and Wall Anchoring

Certain furniture, including dressers, cabinets, bookcases, wardrobes, storage units, and shelving, may present a tip-over risk if not properly secured.

If anti-tip hardware or wall anchoring hardware is included, it should be installed according to the instructions.

Keep children away from unanchored furniture. Do not allow children to climb, hang, or play on furniture. Place heavier items in lower drawers or shelves. Do not place televisions or heavy objects on furniture unless the product is designed for that purpose.

4. Children and Household Safety

Customers should keep small parts, hardware, packaging materials, plastic bags, and tools away from children and pets. Packaging materials should be disposed of safely after assembly.

5. Product Care

Follow all care instructions provided with the product. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture, direct heat, strong sunlight, harsh cleaning chemicals, or improper cleaning methods unless the product is designed for such conditions.

6. Product Recalls and Safety Notices

If we become aware of a product recall, safety notice, or corrective action affecting a product sold by us, we may contact affected customers using the contact information provided at purchase.

We may also provide instructions regarding repair, replacement, refund, disposal, or other corrective action.

7. Reporting Safety Concerns

Please include your order number, product name, description of the safety concern, photos or videos, and product labels, batch numbers, or identifying information if available.

8. Product Safety Information for the United States and Spain

For customers in the United States:
Our products comply with applicable U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) requirements. In the event of a formal recall coordinated with the CPSC, we will follow all required notification and remediation procedures. Customers are encouraged to register their products (if a registration card is provided) to facilitate recall communications.

For customers in Spain:
Since Spain is a member of the European Union, our products sold to Spanish consumers comply with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and applicable Spanish transposition laws. Product safety information, manufacturer/importer details, warnings, and traceability data (batch numbers, serial numbers, etc.) are provided on the product, packaging, accompanying documentation, or product page as required by law.
